Why We Serve The Community

As with many organizations and its history, Epic Conclusions founder Eric S. Heflin maintains similar sentiments as to why we serve the community. Having 12 years of lived recovery experience, Mr. Heflin maintains that we all have the ability to re-write the final chapters of our lives and that we can be victorious over chemical dependency, depression, poverty, lack of education and employment, inferiority, and being incarcerated.

We do this because there is this notion that people are lazy and don't want anything out of life when in fact some people are uninformed and lack certain resources to facilitate independent lifestyles.  Additionally, those who are living with mental health disorders require special services that require supportive housing and mental health counseling interchangeably.  In many cases some ex-offenders find it difficult to make a transition back into society because of various restrictions placed on them.  We also want to promote safe communities that are recovery based driven to ensure a fighting chance when seeking a sober lifestyle.
